I have arranged a tour of the Physical Therapy School in Shreveport for Thursday, April 8, in the morning. I need to know how many students are interested in going so that I can let Dr. Frilot know. Typically we leave Tech at 8:00 for a 9:30 tour and then are leaving Shreveport between 11 and 11:30. You will be back in time for a 1:00 class. I will write a letter asking that you be excused from a class during the morning hours but it is up to the instructor whethere they consider it an excused absence or not.

Please respond to me at if you would like to visit the PT school.

1)  If you are graduating in the winter or spring quarter, please let me know ASAP so that I can order the AED cords that you can wear at graduation.  I have several sets in my office, so you can come by now and pick a set up.  If needed, I will order more for the spring and summer graduates.
2) Sophomores and Juniors – if you are interested in becoming a National Member, there are forms on the AED bulletin board on the first floor of CTH or in my office.  The fee is $75 for membership – and this is a one time fee.  YOU MUST BE A NATIONAL MEMBER TO BE AN OFFICER IN THE LOCAL CHAPTER.
I need the completed forms and fee turned in by March 2 so that I can mail them off and get the National Membership Initiation Packets back by the end of April.
3) February will be a busy month for AED  with meetings on Feb. 4, 11, and 18.  Plan to attend all of them as they are very informative regardless of your chosen graduate program.
Feb. 4 – a first year PA student
Feb. 11 – a representative from Ross University ( one of the Caribbean medical schools )
Feb. 18 – a forum of current medical students in Shreveport
