Huckleberry Trails Entry Pavilion Grand Opening
By EphraimFields - May 16, 2013 - Last updated 4:10 am
The endless nights of a few architecture students come to an end this quarter as they complete the new entry pavilion to Huckleberry Trails recreation park!
The entry sign and pavilion of Huckleberry Trails are the results of the Louisiana Tech School of Architecture’s third year design build studio in the Spring of 2013. In cooperation with the Ruston Parks and Recreation and under the instruction of professor Brad Deal.
Students in this design build course conceived, fabricated and assembled this pavilion to further their own understanding of design and construction while creating a pedestrian entrance to the park that is a place of excitement for all and an inspiration to future designers.
They invite everyone to come out this Saturday, May 18 at 2:00 p.m., to celebrate the grand opening of their hard work. 1299 D'Arbonne Drive, Ruston, LA 71270.
