Local Membership
For the 2009-2010 school year, dues are $35 for everyone. This includes a BMES t-shirt and it entitles you to participation in society activities (policy amendments, officer voting, officer nomination, etc.) as well as discounts to certain BMES sponsored events. This does not cover national membership, so please remember to fill out the forms for national membership and pay the dues listed. You may make one check out to BMES for local and national memberships.
National Membership
National membership for students is available to any student pursuing a course of study in biomedical engineering or a related science. Student memberships are limited to a term of 5 years without re-verification of student status. Student members are encouraged to apply for full membership at the completion of their studies; the Society provides free dues for one year to Students when they advance to the class of Associate member or Member. Annual dues for Student members are $30 and cover the period January–December. Dues received after September 1 will be credited to the following membership year.
