Pakoda

Ingredients

Besin flour 1 cup
One big size onion cut up very fine
Green chilli 2 cut up fine
Ginger a piece grounded
Hing powder half a tsp
Salt
Curry leaf 1 cut up
Cilantro cut up
Oil for frying
Cashe pieces or peanuts

Procedure

Mix everything together. Sprinkle few tbs of water just to make them to come together. The mixture should still be crumbly.

heat the oil in low temperature and keep it low at all times since the fry will cook outside and not inside.

Fry by dropping at random. Do not make balls. You should not be able to make balls. Drop small pieces into the hot oil cook till golden. ENJOY

SPICY CHICKEN FRY

Ingredients

1-1.5lb chicken
2 big Onions
1 big Tomatoes
2-3 Green Chillies
2 to 3 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
1/2 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Cumin seed powder
1 tsp Garam masala
Salt to taste
Oil
Coriander leaves(Cilantro) and Curry leaves

Procedure

Pressure cook the chicken pieces adding a little turmeric, salt and water.
In a pan, heat oil and add the garam masala and onions.
Saute the onions for a while. Then, add the ginger garlic paste and saute.
Then, add the tomatoes, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder, black pepper powder, green chillies and salt.

Fry this mixture for a while maybe adding a little bit of water.
Add to this the coriander and curry leaves and mix.
When the oil comes out on top, add the cooked chicken pieces and mix well to coat all the pieces with the masala.
Fry until all the water drains out. Make sure not to stir the pieces too much as this will break the chicken pieces and mash them up.
Spicy Chicken Fry is ready.

Malpua

Ingredients

All purpose flour
Milk/ condensed milk
2 cup sugar
Dry fruits/ cardamom
Oil/ Ghee

Procedure

Batter for Pua:
Take some all purpose flour in a bowl and mix it in milk/ condensed milk preferably. Make thin batter (but not very thin), tet the batter sit for 30-40 minutes. Add some cardamom powder and cut dry fruits to the mix.

Sugar syrup:
At the same time mix 1 cup of water and 2 cups of sugar and let in boil for 20 minutes or till it becomes thick enough.

Malpua:
Make pua/pancake in ghee or oil by dropping in a scoop of the batter prepared above. Let it fry till light brown.

Take it out and let it cool down before adding it to sugar syrup. There u goes malpua is ready.

Tomato - Egg curry (Bachelor Style)

Ingredients

Onions
Green chillies
Tomatoes
Egg
Salt
Turmeric powder
Chilli powder
Garam Masala (Optional)

Procedure

1)Fry onions, chillies, ginger and garlic in a little oil in a kadai or a pan.

2)Add tomatoes and fry for sometime.

3)Add all the masalas and salt and fry.

4)Add little by little water and form a curry and then add egg (Boiled)into it.

5)Stir for sometime and serve hot.

Aloo Fry

Ingredients

Turmeric,
Salt,
Mirchi Powder,
Oil,
Potatoes

Procedure

1. Take few potatoes, cut them so that it will be easy to peel and place it in a pressure cooker with sufficient water and boil it or you can even put it in micro and boil.

2. Allow 10-15 mins of boiling time and approximately after 3 whistles switch off the stove and allow it to cool down. After cooling peel the potatoes.

3. Cut the potatoes into pieces( u can even cook them without cutting) and while cutting put a kadai on stove and put some oil. Let the oil boil and add mustard.

4. Add some tumeric, red mirchi powder and salt to taste (all sufficient quatities, dont over do it).Mix well and let the curry be on stove for sometime.

5. Aloo Fry is ready and you can go ahead with your meal.
