The HotRod urban vehicle has two wheel pods on either side of the front of the car where the wheels are housed. The wheel pods were cut in two separate halves on the foam router. After these two halves were joined, the team carbon fibered both wheel pods in mid January. We were very impressed with the results of the wheel pods. They came out great! The foam in between the layers of carbon fiber will be removed in order for the wheels to be placed inside.
