The African Student Association encompasses all of the students originally from Africa and anyone curious about Africa. It stands to create a community with unity while creating more awareness about the continental. It is open to all students who are interested.

Black Student Union


The purpose of Black Student Union at Louisiana Tech University, is to enlighten, empower, educate, and entertain students with an emphasis on the African-American perspective. Where our mission is to aid in the recruitment and retention of African-American students to graduation. We seek to edify ourselves first and as a result, the larger Tech community. Our edification is done in order to promote awareness, while sparking action and igniting change for a more inclusive and embracing multicultural community.

National Pan-Hellenic Council


The National Pan-Hellenic Council was founded to foster cooperative actions of its members in dealing with matters of mutual concerns. To this end, the NPHC promotes the well being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local councils of the NPHC and provides leadership training for its constituents
